I read a lot of murder mystery/ cop novels I've noticed. Probably because those have the most interesting titles...I don't know, but I should probably find a way to shake it up so that I'm no so top heavy in one genre.
That being said, I LOVE the Barnes and Nobel Clearance table. I went over there on my lunch break, and bought this book and one other for $3.18. Yes. Awesome right? I just barely got back from a Barnes and Noble shopping spree. I bought ten (8 of those ten are thick, hardbound novels) for $22.25, the normal price would have been about $70! I know, I sound like a commercial, but if you are trying to broaden your horizons and expand your library like me, the place is a gold mine.
Anyway, the book in question was very good and I would highly recommend it, except this is a book that is full of history. To me I found it interesting, intriguing, and informative; but many people may also find it droll and tedious. the main theme of this book is books. One of the main settings is a library. There is a lot of facts about authors, artifacts, collectors and such. I love old things, and I love books, so I didn't mind it. It is well written, and it definitely drew me in. The plot had some good twists in it, it was well formulated and interesting. It was a very quick, easy read for me and thoroughly enjoyed it
Rating: 4/5 PG13 Murder, gore, innuendos, sexual references, language
