A while back I wrote about my friend Cindy’s first book “Watched”, now I’m writing about her sequel, “Protected”. To me it felt like “Protected” was actually the story that Cindy wanted to write, and that “Watched” was simply her necessary back story. This novel had plenty of passion and zip, more adventure, more plot twists, and more emotion. Like its predecessor, it was a fun, fast paced book that I wanted to read straight through. It kept me engaged the whole time, without any boring lulls, and made me ready to read book three.
