The Picture of Dorian Gray- By: Oscar Wilde

An older novel (I try to mostly do contemporary reviews), but a good one.  This is beautifully, and I mean BEAUTIFULLY, written. The book is a little dark and depressing, since it was written as a warning about the poisons of society and the degradation of the human soul. It is a bit tedious, and deep, with lots of difficult words/ allusions. Definitely a good read if you want something intense with a moral message and exquisite background.

Rating: 3/5  PG-13 (Sexual References, Drug References, Alcohol references, language, etc)
